Rylan Clark-Neal has broken his silence, revealing it’s “good to be back”, after he took some time away from his radio show following his split from his husband Dan Neal. He is back on the airwaves this Saturday at 3pm
Rylan Clark-Neal says it is “good to be back” as he prepares to make his radio return this weekend.
The presenter is returning to BBC Radio 2 this weekend, as announced by his colleague Zoe Ball earlier today, and he has broken his silence for the first time since his return was confirmed.
He had taken some time away from the spotlight following the end of his marriage to Dan Neal, after he previously admitted he had been “prioritising his mental health” in the wake of their separation.
“It’s good to be back. See you Saturday at 3pm on @BBCRADIO2,” he wrote on Instagram.

And fans rushed to social media to share their excitement at Rylan’s return.
“YESSS!! So so excited to listen to you again,” one wrote.
A second shared: “Looking forward to hearing you.”
“Yay! Fab news!” a third wrote, “So excited, can’t wait to listen to you again this Saturday.”
Fans were thrilled to hear Rylan was back on his show, admitting they had missed him terribly.
“Yaaayyyy!!! We’ve missed you,” one shared.
Another added: “You’ve been missed Rylan, welcome back.”

Back in July, Rylan confirmed he would be back to work soon but was taking time out to prioritise his mental health.
“I just wanted to write a message to thank you all for the love and kindness you’ve shown us,” he said.
“We are currently prioritising our mental health and looking after the ones around us we love most.
“I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love in due course.
“Thank you for being patient with me.”
He had previously admitted he was in a “bad place” following the couple’s decision to split.
He said: “Following reports about Dan and I spending time apart, I feel I have to speak out – as the way it is being reported is unfair.
“I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage.
“I am trying to take each day at a time and would like to thank you to everyone for their support and for respecting our privacy at this time.”
Rylan had been set to present the UK coverage of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest but pulled out of hosting duties as well as disappearing from his BBC Radio 2 show.
He has had a lot of support from his celeb friends in the wake of the split.
” Katie Price in particular has been his rock over the last few weeks, and given she’s been through three marriage splits herself, she understands the torment he’s going through,” a source told Closer magazine.
“Nicole [Scherzinger] has also been messaging him and has given him a list of books that have helped her through painful break-ups.”
