Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer has shared rare childhood picture of his late sister to mark her 60th birthday.
The 9th Earl Spencer shared the black and white snap on the Althorp House Instagram account, which is the Spencer family’s stately home.
The beautiful image, which was taken by their father, shows Diana stood in front of Park House in Norfolk where she was born.
It was captioned: “Today is the 60th Birthday of Diana, Princess of Wales.
“1 July 1961 was an exceptionally hot English summer’s day, Diana’s parents always remembered.

“She was born in Park House, on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
“Park House is seen in the background of this family photograph taken by Diana’s father, the 8th Earl Spencer.”
In the photograph can be seen with her hair in pigtails and wearing a white knitted jumper, skirt and long white socks.
Diana was buried at Althorp following her tragic passing after a car crash in Paris in 1997.
The same day the picture was shared, Diana’s sons Princes William and Harry reunited to unveil a statue honouring their late mother within Kensington Palace’s sunken garden.
Their uncle Charles also joined them, along with their aunties Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes.
A royal expert told has OK! the reunion was “step in the right direction” for healing the rift between the brothers.
Katie Nicholl, author of Harry: Life, Loss, and Love, said the siblings’ meeting on what would have been her 60th birthday shouldn’t be overestimated.
Katie explains: “It’s baby steps in the right direction but I don’t think it should be interpreted as a giant leap in the healing of the rift.
“It’s going to take many more meetings and there are so many things that need to still be addressed.”
Harry, 36, flew over from his new home in California and isolated ahead of the event.
It marked the first time Prince William, 39, and Prince Harry had been reunited in public since their grandfather’s funeral in April.
Much has been reported about an alleged rift between the two brothers in recent months.
