I’ve been loving the weather this week. Because it’s so nice, I’ve really been trying to get away for a UK staycation, but it’s half-term and there’s literally nothing available. The places I’ve seen are either too far to go or booked up. It would be nice if there was an outdoor pool I could go to – I need a swimming pool in my life, ha! Hopefully Charlie and I can get away for a night or two this week somewhere in the country so we can spend some time chilling together.
BEACH DAY BOTHER
Charlie and I went to Folkestone for a lovely beach day this week. It was such a nice day – but I couldn’t walk! We had to go up this windy staircase that went up some cliffs and it felt like a 1000 steps. I was bursting for a wee and Charlie was like, “Why don’t you just go in a bush?” And I couldn’t because there were so many people around and I was sweating.
It would be brilliant to show this sort of thing on a TV show, because it’s quite comical how we are as a couple. We bicker – but we get on! It would be so funny to do something together.
MY DREAM BIRTH
I went to the hospital this week for my final scan and they said the baby is now 5lbs 1oz. I can’t believe how much she’s grown! The doctors checked to see where the baby is and where the placenta is and if the baby’s head is facing down, which she is. Because it was all positive news, I’ve now officially been told I can have a natural birth, which is nice, but I instinctively knew I was going to be able to anyway.
The appointment and scan was a really nice experience, but we weren’t able to get any pictures, as she’s facing down, but they were able to measure her and check her fluids. It’s so nice I can have the natural birth I always wanted. The next two weeks I’m going to slow down with work. I’m going to pull back on my aesthetics business and not do anything too intense, because I want to get into a relaxed mindset for the birth.
GOOD LUCK, MICHELLE
I read Michelle Heaton’s interview where she bravely opened up about her issues with alcohol and admitted to having taken cocaine.
She’s made the first step in getting help and I wish her the best of luck for the future. It must be so horrible having an addiction like that, so I really hope things will get better for her now.
