A video of Noel Gallagher revealing an Oasis fan punched him in the eye on stage because he slept with his girlfriend has resurfaced in which he appears with a very young looking Liam
Noel Gallagher claimed an Oasis fan once punched him until he bled because he had sex with his girlfriend.
The 54-year-old musician made the admission in an old MTV interview in which he can be seen with a his brother and former bandmate Liam.
Relaying the event, the dad-of-three says: “This geezer took it upon himself to jump up on stage, through security, and punched me in the eye.
“He had this ring on, so there was a bit of blood everywhere.”
The interviewer then asks: “Was he just overexcited or had you done something to him?”
Liam suggested that maybe the man thought “he’s hard and was looking for a fight.”

However without breaking a sweat Noel replies: “It was actually because he found out I was sleeping with his girlfriend.”
To which Liam nonchalantly adds: “Was it? Nice one,” before reaching for his drink.
The footage sent Oasis fans into a frenzy with one posting: “This is hilarious.”
Another said: “Liam is so iconic.”
While a third professed: “God, I love these two together.”
While the Gallagher brothers may have been friends then their relationship has since soured after a very public falling out.
Oasis split up in August 2009 after a row erupted between the siblings backstage before a Paris festival, resulting in a physical fight.
They have never played together since and both now play live and tour with their own bands, performing Oasis songs as part of their set.
However Oasis fans will be able to watch the band on stage again – as a documentary about their iconic Knebworth gig will be in cinemas on September 23.
The band announced the longed-for documentary will be released worldwide in September, allowing an army of fans to experience the record-breaking concert when the band were at the peak of their success.
Announcing the news, frontman Liam Gallagher said: “Knebworth for me was the Woodstock of the 90s. It was all about the music and the people. I can’t remember much about it, but I’ll never forget it. It was Biblical.”And in a rare act of brotherly affection Noel recently praised his younger sibling saying his solo career is more successful than his.
The If I Had A Gun singer appeared to be offering an olive branch to his brother when he paid him a compliment on Chris Evans’ How to Wow podcast.
“He’s doing massive gigs, he’s selling more records than I am and he’s selling more tickets than I am, if you can believe that,” Noel conceded.
“So he’s doing his thing and I’m doing mine and we’re both pretty happy doing that at the moment.”
