Montana Brown has taken a trip down memory lane and expressed her sadness over decisions she made in her teenage years.
The Love Island star, who previously revealed secrets from the show, took to her Instagram feed to share a split picture of her teenage self at 18, with another snap from a few months later.
The 25 year old wrote: “Looking back at some old pictures makes me quite sad, in the photo on the left, I was in Zante living my best life as an 18 year old, and on the right was just a few months later being on a juice diet and taking fat burner pills from some dodgy website…
“I don’t know why I felt the pressure to lose weight but I was willing to do anything at that point to be slimmer.
“I was ordering these pills to help me lose weight and hiding them from my mum exercising a lot. Too much pressure for a teenager that’s for sure.”
The brunette beauty went on to explain that she was much happier when she wasn’t worrying about her weight.
She continued: “Was way happier being in Zante, eating Subways and being with friends not worrying about my weight!
“I definitely learnt after this that it was unhealthy but I just wanted to raise awareness that everyone goes through the motions of not being kind to their bodies and doing things we shouldn’t.
“I didn’t appreciate my big boobs when I should’ve,” Montana concluded, along with a crying with tears emoji.
The reality star’s followers rushed to comment on the post and praise her for being so candid about her past struggles.
One follower penned: “It’s so sad that people have looked at these before and after pics and not reading the text. The point has been missed by a few. Good on you for sharing.”
Another Instagram user said: “You honestly look insanely hot on the left. It’s so sad you didn’t see what everyone else can see. Thank you for sharing, it’s very brave.”
A third added: “Wow you look absolutely amazing!!! I so wish I had your will power x.”
The television personality, who previously paid tribute to her late pal Mike Thalassitis, shot to fame on the third series of Love Island in 2017.
Montana paired up with Alex Beattie, but the pair were later dumped from the villa ahead of the final and went on to split after returning to the UK.
