Love Island winner Kem Cetinay has admitted he “shouldn’t have had so much sex” during his time on the show.
Kem, now 25, was crowned the winner of the dating series in 2017 alongside Amber Davies.
Even though business owner Kem dated Amber, who split months after the series ended, while in the villa and after leaving the show he admitted he does have some regrets.
Speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, Kem confessed: “Now I’ve got a business and I’ve got staff, and if new recruits search for me, some of the first articles that come up will be about me having sex on TV.

“But you’ve got to remember, I was 21! I wasn’t who I am now. So I don’t feel embarrassed about it because it is what it is, it happened.”
He continued: “Maybe I shouldn’t have had as much sex as I did – maybe once or twice would have been enough. Not as regular! But I loved the whole experience.
“I’m very grateful how it went for me because I had a great group of friends in there. I was stuck in from the get-go. I have nothing but amazing memories from Love Island.”
Kem, who split from his girlfriend Lexie in lockdown, also said he “had no idea” what was going to happen when he came out of Love Island.
He was catapulted into the limelight after winning the show alongside now West End star Amber, 24.
Although the pair moved on from their relationship, both Kem and Amber are now single following her split from Nick Kyriacou.
He revealed: “I thought I might get a little bit of money to buy these trainers I really wanted. I thought I was just going to go back to cutting hair.”

“But my whole life changed. It was mental.”
As well as his romance gaining high amounts of attention his friendship with Jesy Nelson’s ex Chris Hughes became a favourite amongst fans.
Trying to imagine how the show would be now, four years on from his series, Kem confessed: “The show is very different now – it’s so much bigger and everything needs to be under wraps – but I knew I was going to be on about three months before it started.
“It gave me a chance to quit my job. I was training – it was like a full-time boot camp – and I bought a whole new wardrobe!”
