Louisa Lytton has opened up about her pregnancy, revealing a little mishap that happened before finding out about the exciting news.
The 32 year old actress, who had previously spoken out about being “broody for a while”, appeared on ITV’s Loose Women to speak to panellists about expecting her first child with fiancé Ben Bhanvra.
Presenter Kaye Adams, 58, started the conversation by saying: “Congratulations on your lovely news, how are you?”
To which Louisa responded: “Thank you! Yeah, I’m alright thank you. I’m sort of through the first hurdle of the 12 weeks so I feel a lot better now. So yeah, thank you.”
“You discovered just round about Christmas time, is that right?” Kaye quizzed.
Louisa, who recently opened up about the first trimester and compared it to a “seven days a week hangover”, responded: “Yeah, so actually I found out on Boxing Day, which was really nice.
“I’d been drinking tequila the night before so…” she added, giggling.
Louisa then discussed her eating habits throughout her pregnancy as she said: “I was just non stop eating junk food for 12 weeks.
“I’d have dinner and then go for a drive-thru straight away afterwards.
“My appetite went crazy but it’s coming back down now though which is good.”
The EastEnders star, who is well known for portraying the character Ruby Allen on the popular soap opera, announced her pregnancy on 14 March.
Sharing a sweet clip with her Instagram followers, Louisa can be seen opening a card which says: “Just a little note to say…”

It then reads on the inside: “There’s a baby on the way!”
The rest of the video shows a montage of clips, including a sweet video of Louisa and Ben standing together as she shows off her blossoming bump.
Meanwhile, the couple’s cockapoo pop, Riley, is seen wearing a handkerchief tied around its neck, which reads: “My parents are getting me a human”.
In the video, Ben is seen reading a pregnancy book and Louisa later films the cards and gifts she’s received on Mother’s Day.
As she shared the clip on her Instagram page, Louisa penned a sweet message to her mother Jane as she said: “Dear Mum, If I am a fraction of the mother you are, I know I’ll be the best.
“You have held my hand for 32 years, you have taught me right from wrong, corrected my spelling, and helped me see the light at the end of every single tunnel.”
She then joked: “And now you will guide me to becoming a mummy. (Just try not to move yourself in or Ben might leave)”.
Louisa then told her fans: “Happy Mother’s Day All, to those that are here, that are not with us in person but with us every moment and to those on a journey. L xx”.
