I’m A Celebrity presenters Ant and Dec have revealed that they are ‘desperate to get back on the telly’ after stars were removed from camp due to Storm Arwen.
The ITV show, which revealed on Saturday 27 November that they had removed the contestants from Gwrych Castle after suffering “technical issues” due to weather conditions, cancelled two episodes of the ITV show this weekend which were replaced with clips of previous series set in Australia.
Ant and Dec, both 46, shared a clip to their 6.7million Instagram followers as they revealed the team were ‘working round the clock’ to get the live show back on TV following disruption to production.

Ant said: “Hello and welcome to We’re Celebrities Get Us In There!”
Dec added: “We’re desperate to get back on the telly!”
“A little update for you Declan…,” Ant added.
Speaking from a kitchen, Dec said: “I’ve got an update – site was quite badly damaged during the storm and they are in there working round the clock to try and get it back up and running and back up to speed so we can get back on air as quick as humanly possible. But we don’t know when that’s going to be just yet…”
Sharing a snap of the pair sitting on a picnic bench in the freezing temperatures, Ant added: “Fingers crossed. Little update from us we went on the coldest walk in the world today, it was very cold.”
Captioning the clip, the TV duo said: “More news from the kitchen! The @imacelebrity team are working round the clock to get us back on your tellies ASAP! Meanwhile we hope you’re enjoying a better meal than a crisp sandwich.”
Meanwhile Ant and Dec appeared to hint that they were missing the camp set in the Australian jungle after the show has been filmed in Wales due to coronavirus restrictions for the past two series.
A fan wrote: “@antanddec thank you for still giving us a show to watch tonight! We’re really grateful.”
Ant and Dec quote tweeted the comment and replied: “Bless you. Sorry we can’t be there but hope you’re enjoying seeing the show in Oz again! D x”
It comes after Friday’s show aired as a pre-recorded episode for the first time in the show’s history due to the developing weather conditions at the time.
An I’m A Celebrity spokesperson told OK! at the time: “Tonight’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will be broadcast as a pre-recorded show rather than live due to the developing Storm Arwen and precautionary measures we’re putting into place on production.
“Ant & Dec will record their links early evening and these will be played out during tonight’s show.
“Our celebrities will remain inside the castle which is secure and we have contingencies in place to cover all weather scenarios to ensure the safety of our cast and crew.”
